Oh behalf of WRECKREATE, NewType Music would like to issue a statement regarding the indefinite delay of recording the demo project.
As we are all now aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a national lockdown. Weeks prior to this, members of WRECKREATE made the smart and informed decision to preemptively cancel and reschedule their recording dates (previously scheduled for March 21 and 22) to a future time when the danger of spreading the infection is over.
While we understand this delay in the project is unfortunate for our loyal and dedicated fans, we nonetheless feel it is the correct and responsible action required by the situation.
In closing, we would like to thank all the medical professionals and healthcare personnel who are fighting this pandemic every minute of every hour of every day. We salute you and appreciate your noble dedication to saving the lives of others. You have our sincerest gratitude.
We will send additional updates when appropriate and announce the new dates for recording once the pandemic is under control and we resume normal activities. Take care everyone, please wash your hands frequently and practice social distancing, and stay safe and healthy during the lockdown and self-quarantine.
